General Surgery

Miss Elizabeth Sharp

Welcome

Welcome to Surgical Training within East Kent, my name is Miss Elizabeth Sharp and I am the Faculty Lead for Surgical Specialties, as well as Consultant Surgeon and Clinical Tutor for the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital  and Core Surgery Training Programme Director HE KSS.

Key Factors

The General Surgery posts allow trainees to develop skills in line with the curricula whilst being well supported by the multi-professional team. Learning and service commitment are dependent on the grade of the trainee. During the trainee’s time in the trust, support is offered from the Surgical College Tutor and allocated Educational and Clinical Supervisors, all of whom will give regular feedback about progress.
