Acute Care - Dr Neil Goldsack

"Acute Care covers Acute Medical and Surgical admissions and their ongoing management. Both departments are very busy and give exposure to a wide range of general medical and surgical conditions. I have been a consultant respiratory and general physician for 21 years and specialise in lung cancer, COPD and pulmonary fibrosis. Students will have an excellent opportunity to be attached to a wide range of wards including respiratory, surgery, cardiology, acute medical unit and endocrinology. Students will experience care being provided multi-professional teams.
