Health Education Awards 2019

Recognising, acknowledging, and rewarding the exceptional hard work, success, and achievements of junior doctors, medical students, nurses, allied health professionals, SAS doctors, consultants, GPs and individuals who support and contribute to the learning environment.


New Venue for 2019

This year’s Health education awards are being held at the Canterbury Cathedral Lodge on Thursday 11th July.

A garden reception (weather permitting) will be held in the grounds of the cathedral lodge starting at 6.45 pm. The awards celebration starts at 7.30 pm and will be followed by a buffet. To reserve your place please email ekhuft.heawards@nhs.net .

Quality Improvement Project Showcase 2019

This year’s QIP presentations will take place on the 17th June at the William Harvey Hospital. 

The competition is open to medical students and junior doctors who are due to complete a Quality Improvement Project (QIP) during this current academic year. The project should be sustainable and should outline supporting evidence to demonstrate this. Projects will be shortlisted for presentation at the showcase event. Winners will be announced at the Health Education Awards on Thursday 11th July at the Canterbury Cathedral Lodge. Please email Lisa Evans for an entry form.

The closing date for submissions is Thursday 23rd May 2019.


 


The 2017 Health Education Awards were held at the Gulbenkian Theatre, University of Kent on Thursday 6 July, acknowledging best improvements, contributions to our vision, and unsung heroes within the Medical Education Directorate.
