You join us in unprecedented times and you are very welcome.
In challenging national and local circumstances, the NHS and the Trust are responding to that challenge with staff across all professional and healthcare groups and roles working together to provide the very best care for all our patients.
With the situation very dynamic and staff having to be flexible and adaptable in order to respond quickly and effectively to rapid and evolving change, there is a significant amount for us all to learn in this unprecedented situation. Welcoming you, as new Interim Foundation Year 1 Doctor, is an honour and we have significant respect for your willingness and enthusiasm, even, to step up to begin your professional career early and in these circumstances. We have a strong and proud record in East Kent of providing excellent education and training and some of you will already have benefited from time with us. Others of you chose to make East Kent your first employer and are now joining us earlier than you expected.
You are all very welcome and we look forward to both inducting and supporting you into and through your training as well as benefiting from your own experience, perspective, enthusiasm and energy.
