Core Medical Trainees

We pride ourselves on offering an excellent Core Medical Training Programme. There are committed College Tutors and Supervisors at each site, and the rotations we offer provide both general and specialty experience. This enables the Core Medical Trainee excellent experience to cover all the needs of their Curriculum, and enable them to achieve their MRCP Diploma.

The Core Medical Training Programme within East Kent comprises of 25 posts across the 3 sites. The majority of the posts are 3 x 4 month attachments, with 4 out of the 25 posts being a 2 x 6 month attachment. We offer posts within the key major medical specialties (including Ortho-Geriatrics, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Endocrinology and Diabetes, Intensive Care Medicine, Stroke, Rheumatology, Acute Medicine) as well as some more specialised areas, such as Neurology, Haematology and Renal Medicine.
